Giving By Golfing

August 31, the Corkrey Family hosted a benefit golf tournament at StoneTree Golf Club to raise money to help pay some of the medical expenses for our daughter, sister and friend, Jennifer Corkrey O’Hara.

Jenn suffers from a rare debilitating incurable disease called Intracranial Hypertension (IH).  This disease causes her to go blind, suffer severe headaches, and has taken away the happy life she once knew.  We also hope to bring awareness about IH to aide in research for a possible cure.  

Last year we raised $15,000 which helped pay a small portion of her medical bills.  We hoped to raise even more this year greatly appreciated your help.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in the Golf Tournament as a player, a hole sponsor, or as a prize contributor.  The weather cooperated and we certainly had a wonderful time.  So many people provided countless hours to make this event successful.  Please check back here for pictures and a note from Jen's Dad Ron about the tournament.
